    Wrapping Up Ellen’s Five Steps to Optimal Health; Making Perfect Weight and Optimal Health Effortless

    Whew! There’s been lots of info over the last six weeks as I shared my five steps to making perfect weight and optimal health effortless. I thought a wrap-up might be helpful. I’m sure most if not all of this is not NEWS to you, but is it incorporated into your daily plan?

    1.    Detox your precious vehicle: Put in clean fuel to begin with, drink lots of purified water, and use natural (minimal yucky preservatives) products.

    2.    Plan ahead so you make good choices: Start with a wholesome breakfast and keep nourishing choices available or know where you can easily get them as you go about your day.

    3.    Give your body the correct fuel so it can burn efficiently: Stoke the fire by getting your hormones running properly and supercharging your body with the right nutrients so it can do the job for which it was intended. Don’t blame it if it isn’t working properly. We don’t come with labels like our cars do, but we should, right? It is incumbent upon us to educate ourselves and then to take the appropriate action.

    4.    Attract the fabulous body and vibrant health that you want by visualizing your ideal and affirming what you want to attract all day long-not what you don’t want. Banish any negative thoughts and keep programming in the positive stuff.

    5.    Get out and move! Increase your activity. Park further away, take the stairs, join a gym, take daily walks with your spouse, kids, friends and/or dog. Aren’t self-motivated or crave accountability? Hire a personal trainer or coach to help you reach achieve results more quickly.


    The choice is yours and there’s no time like the present. Figure out what your goals are and how you can achieve them. Then, don’t let anything get in your way, especially yourself! Any time and effort invested now will worth the effort! If not now, when?
