Ok, it's not really hell... It's just a lot of work.
Joe and I have finally finished moving in with my dad. That's not the hellish part, mind you, but the simple fact that I can't find anything I need now. Not that I was very organized in the first place, but I had a general idea of where everything was!
We have basically claimed the basement as our studio/kitty area. We are getting new outlets wired in for our various craft/art tools/lights. We have our shelves and tables situated. They are just empty. And we have boxes and boxes piled up around them.
The cats have gotten used to the basement, but we aren't situated. I'm going a little crazy NOT working on something. It's my relaxation after a hard day of work... at a job I detest.
I'll stop whining now... :)
My goals for the basement:
*Organize/Maintain Organization of Yarn and Knitting/Crochet Items, Jewelry items, Painting items, and every other craft/art thing I do.
*Situate my Jewelry Areas appropriately to what I do in each area: Fusing, Wire Wrapping, Beading
*Find a place to paint AGAIN... It's been too long.
*Have an "office" for my business papers and such.
I'm optimistic that the annoyances of recently moving and boxing things up will go away in it's time. In the mean time, I just need to get going with it! I miss my relaxation!
