Last Friday my home and home-based office were turned into a filming platform for an upcoming video. While being interviewed (my microphone was attached to the back of my chair so I could not get up without assistance), the videographer says “bogie in the background”. I turn my head and look and it’s my cat, and she is squatting down about to pee on my rug! Because I can not get up in time to stop her, she does the deed. She apparently didn’t care for these strangers and their equipment in her domain.
My point: while totally gross, it was also funny, and we all laughed.
There are many times in business (and life) where things don’t go as expected. Why not take a step back and see if you can find humor in the situation? Not all will come with that benefit, but some will.
P.S. One of Psi Bands’ goals is to land another large retailer (5000+ stores).
