YESTERDAY WAS SARAHCENTRIC'S BEST DAY EVER!!
Remember way back in August when I told you all about my previous Best Day Ever? Susan Piver, (meditation teacher and writer), enjoyed a post I wrote about my practice. When she recommended it on Twitter, i enjoyed my first big day of hits.
A post about my refrigerator door was StumbledUpon by the Good Women of Savor the Success. That little stumble pushed my stats into the stratosphere! Sarahcentric received more than double the hits of my previous best day ever! I gotta tell ya', Wordpress' built-in Blog Stats leaves a lot to be desired. These are the days I cannot wait for my new blog and Google analytics. As my readership grows and my re-designed blog appears, I can't wait to dissect my blog traffic. But whatever, I'll take it!
But it doesn't end there! Sarahcentric was not just stumbledupon. Some readers got directions! In a ridiculous full-circle moment, Susan Piver asked if I would be willing to give her some feedback on a new book she's writing about break-ups. We hit it off when I found a crazy insightful post on her blog about the pain and wisdom of heartbreak. I was fully checked into Heartbreak Hotel at the time, and her insight gave me the first bit of hope that I might actually check out someday.
A year later, I'm chatting with her on the phone about how best to heal! I emailed Susan a rambling brainstorm about the stages of devastating break-ups, thinking it might be helpful. Well, she she thought it was... and asked if she could post on her blog! I can't tell you how much this meant to me.
