...My diabolical plan to re-launch Sarahcentric is coming together puuuuh-fectly!
We are so close to the new and improved Sarahcentric I can taste it. And ya' know it tastes like graham cracker coffee;-) Chris Ammons and I are locked as far as the creative and it's just dreamy. Now our vision, (and when I say "our" I really mean Artsy Chris' vision) is in the hands of Computer Guy Andy. I'm sure there's an actual name for his job, but I've never been much for science. Anyphway, Andy will be taking Chris' design and building it on a private server making sure it's all functional and cool. When everything is a go, Andy will transfer all of my blog entries, comments and other Sarahcentric nonsense over to the new site. Basically, we're at the most boring and crucial stage of making sure that all of our ducks are in a row. I'm backing up old blog entries and selecting web hosting plans. (Many thanks to Rebecca Zwar, Moderator Pup and friends out there in the Twitterverse for their help in that area!)
The way things are going we should be able to launch after Thanksgiving, but before Christmas. I gave my readers their first tiny preview of the new site in my latest blog entry. We call this a tease campaign in television. But once i have an official date, we'll be in full-on countdown mode. Not only will my readers have something new and pretty to look at, they'll be able to actively participate by entering my first blog giveaway and signing up as a Sarahcentric Facebook fan. When you do a big promotional push for one day, the timing has to be just right. My readership, subscriptions and Twitter following is increasing. I'm showing up on new readers' blogrolls.
Now is the time.
