Final Sarahcentric stationery, jumping-off point for my new blog!
Wordpress is cheating on me.
I was doing some blog surfing a few weeks ago and clicked on a Hawt Post in the wordpress entertainment section, a Hollywood gossip blog. I was scandalized and not because of the latest Lindsay Lohan scoop. They were using my blog template, "rounded"!!! How dare they!! Any reservations I had about spending a little time and money on a custom wordpress template went out the door.
I'm not judging the gossip blog, of course. How else would I know if Amy Winehouse is back in rehab or not? But I will say it certainly helped re-focus my vision. I spend so much time and effort crafting my entries and finding an audience for them. I want the whole experience at the blog to support that. It's time for the blog design to directly compliment my words and personality. Dropping my work into any old blog template is no fun anymore.
My designer will be getting me a first pass in about 2 weeks. We hope to have a final Sarahcentric design by 12/1. "Rounded" has served me well, but I cannot wait to move on!!
