Curvy Goddess Lounge is a company catering to plus size/full-figured women, the Curvy Goddesses of the world, and appreciating the men who admire them. We are bombarded by signals and messages from society, trying to define what we are supposed to be, how we are supposed to look, what beauty is. They are insidious acts that chip away our self-esteem, our confidence, ourselves until we disappear, become invisible. Curvy Goddess Lounge is a platform for positive and inspired re-creation of who we are and who we want to be. Following the belief that there is great “power in numbers”, Curvy Goddess Lounge is a community of women who are ready to not just accept themselves, but are ready to practice the art of self-adoration.

Founder and creator of the company, Curvy Goddess Lounge, Diane Williams believes that “Greatness belongs to us all”. Diane was born 10.5 lbs. and grew up shy and introverted. “It was an absolute curse to be shy and larger than my peers. I felt like a giant!” she expresses, but she had no idea that it would help her later on to acquire great empathy for others and a genuine desire to reach out to other women to guide them and to create inspired change in their lives.

At 28, she packed her bags and moved to New York City with a modeling contract from the internationally acclaimed Wilhelmina Modeling Agency as a plus-size fashion model. “It was amazing and wonderful to have experienced but it wasn’t enough for me. I felt I needed more from myself.” Diane found her true calling and that is to empower women through fitness, health, and wellness. “I saw a major shift after hiring a female trainer. I felt like I had unearthed a universal, cosmic secret. Profound change occurred on all levels, not only physically. Who knew this level of change could occur through movement of the body?”

Diane has been a personal trainer for over a decade. She is certified by the nationally recognized National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is kickboxing certified by the International Sports Conditioning Association. She is a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant certified by the American Council of Exercise. Her clients vary in physical fitness levels, challenges, and age–clients with knee, shoulder, back injuries, weight issues, and osteoporosis among other physical challenges. “I LOVE what I do. To see my clients transform is magical, absolutely magical!”

The philosophy behind Curvy Goddess Lounge is that a number of components make-up the empowered woman. The community will cover and address those topics that delve into developing those elements and will provide products and services supporting the transformation of the “Curvy Goddess” emphasizing the “process” of the evolution of the empowered “Curvy Goddess”. In this community of curvy women, we re-introduce the element of fun while learning and sharing valuable information to re-create and re-invent the “Curvy Goddess” in YOU through inspired action.
