Riding Instructor University began almost by accident, and then only to fill what I recognized as a growing need. After freelancing for some time as the Feature Writer for horses at Suite101.com, I started to receive multiple e-mails every week asking for advice. Many of the people asking were equestrian professionals who were having trouble starting and running their businesses.
