Riding Instructor University began almost by accident, and then only to fill what I recognized as a growing need. After freelancing for some time as the Feature Writer for horses at Suite101.com, I started to receive multiple e-mails every week asking for advice. Many of the people asking were equestrian professionals who were having trouble starting and running their businesses. The purpose of Riding Instructor University is to provide a resource and a community for those who make their living teaching riding lessons.
