Through Penelope’s study of color therapy, she developed a passion for color and the influential role it plays in our lives.
She was brought up in Cape Town, South Africa where she met the love of her life, Elan, her now husband of 4 years. They have lived in London and recently moved to southern California and so have a diverse experience and appreciation of different cultures. Penelope studied art in school and has always kept her creative flair. Now with her recent discovery of designing jewelry, she has been able to flourish with years of creative ideas.

YOU ARE THE COLORS YOU CHOOSE:
Color is a very powerful reflection in our lives. Color is energy vibrating at different frequencies and so we begin to realize that color impacts our subconscious mind without us even realizing it! We choose to surround ourselves with the colors that we most need to balance our energy. Thus we may find ourselves drawn to wearing a pink t-shirt if we’re in need of some nurturing or if we’re feeling down a bit of yellow can really help to set your day on a happier note. I’ve compiled a brief summary of words that I feel best represent the colors.
Clear/White: Clarity, purity, perfectionist, reflection, surrender
Yellow: warmth, wisdom, energy, happiness, laughter
Red: earth, love, passion, extrovert, awakening
Pink: femininity, unconditional care, compassion, vulnerability, tenderness
Green: hope, nature, boundaries, direction, space
Orange: bliss, meditation, dedication, gregarious, sociable
Turquoise: intuition, idealism, humanitarian ideals, creativity
Blue: communication, serenity, intuition, calming, nurturing
Black: Sophisticated, formal, conservative, mysterious, sexy
THE COLLECTIONS
The Venice Collection:
Penelope’s extensive travelling through Europe contributed to the creation of this collection. The eclectic mix of cultures on the continent and the beautiful composition of the Murano and Venetian hand-made beads inspired this unique design. These pieces use plated gold or silver findings (but can be custom made in sterling or gold-filled on request). The Venetian and Murano beads use 24K gold foil and .925 sterling silver and are mixed with Swarovski® Crystals and Austrian beads to create a final result that is vibrant and colorful and will certainly get you noticed!
The Eilat Collection
This design was inspired by Penelope G’s travels to the Middle East - a richly diverse part of the world, with striking people and architecture. The ‘scroll’ beads used as a feature in this design echoes links to the Dead Sea, the Nile River and the rich history of Jerusalem. This collection combines eye-catching color combinations to make a statement while still remaining subtle and elegant.
The Cape Town Collection:
The main feature beads in this collection come from Kenya and are called Kazuri beads, meaning ‘small and beautiful’ in Swahili. This business was set up to provide employment for disadvantaged women and today has expanded to provide work for hundreds of disadvantaged families. The beads reminded Penelope of her African roots. The exotic and colorful designs echo the cosmopolitan vibe that defines Cape Town life - an inspiring nation and truly diverse mix of people and cultures. The gold-filled and sterling silver findings echo the rich mineral abundance of the African continent and people.
The Hong Kong Collection:
These beautiful 14K gold necklaces show-case magnificent vintage and modern Cloisonne beads made in China. The vintage items are genuine and were personally purchased in Hong Kong in the 1980’s by Penelope G’s supplier. Each pendant bead has superb workmanship and magnificent color detail and quality. You can pretty much guarantee you won't see anyone else wearing a piece like this.
The Tokyo Collection:
Striking 14K Gold necklaces are adorned with vintage Japanese Tensha pendants. These truly are one-of-a-kind pieces and only a handful of them are being made.
The Earth Collection:
This Collection is a mix of 14K Gold and Sterling Silver necklaces with unique gemstone pendants. The gemstones are hand-picked by Penelope G for their rare shapes, sizes and colors. These classy pieces will stand out as something simple but different.
